i am a finisher of singapore race
I know.... it has been very very long. A very very outdated post. Haha.
Being very frustrated with my computer and internet and everything. The bane of technology. The double-edged sword.
Also a very busy semester. At least theoretically and on paper. 7 modules seem like a mistake now. But to go for IA nest semester seems like necessary. But it's turning out to look like it's more than my ability can handle. I'm so consistently tired everyday without doing anything useful. There's a problem somewhere there but i also don't understand the specifics to it. Haha....
Putting that aside. 27th August 2006. What a significant day. Who would have thought i still have it inside of me to finish the 21km AHM. I know it might not mean much to many people but to me it's actually a lot as i'm not a very good runner especially a long-distance runner. Agreed to join with a couple of friends and after paying the registration fees there's only one way to go. That is to run. Super not prepared. Fully understood the importance of training before the event now. A pity our attempted 12km became halved before that. So it surprised myself that i can actually run as much as i did. I'm not revealing the timing. It's a disgrace. Hahaha....
Sorry yk and pat for pulling you guys down as well.
The new route is actually pretty scenic. Not that i have a lot of energy to take in the sights and sounds. But i guess you can say it's more enjoyable running than it was when i was still in the army. But my legs ache so much more than the last time. Who wants to join next year??
But yes.... I am a finisher of the "singapore race" or so they are calling it.
A medal for our efforts. If only there are pretty girls to put it around our necks at the end point. Haha... Thinking too much.
Here it is....
SAFRA Sheares Bridge Run & Army Half Marathon.
FINISHER MEDAL 21.1KM Half Marathon.
Don't ask me where the 0.1km came out from. I also don't know.
And the "legends" got to unite after the run.
Presenting the "legends" and a friend.....
School has been bad thus far. A lot of lectures. Nothing registered. Nothing at engin to pump us up. And the bloody sucky LT7 leaks big time when it rains. Flooding at the entrance can you believe it. We seriously need a new LT. And the coffee and tea everywhere seems to have dropped in standard.
A lot of work piling up. So behind syllabus already at week 4. 3 projects!! I am so dead.
Bye bye yingkai. Bye bye tanny. Told ya it's outdated.
Someone going to switzerland for a year. Got a treat out of it. Now we must treat her back. Hope it's better than the last time.
Got a new MP3 player at comex. Damn far. My friend almost won a laptop. Ha...
I am so jaded. Jaded jaded jaded.
No mood and energy to do anything.
Jay Chou new album is out.
Trying to find some release. But where??
There's something wrong with being a Newcastle striker. You're bound to get injured somehow. And where are the exciting signings that were supposed to happen. Another season of struggle probably. Hopefully not. GO MAGPIES!!!
AND I AM STILL A FINISHER OF A HALF MARATHON.
Thank you.
