playing in the rain

Play soccer today again. Leg pain again. Sigh. Everytime rest for a few days then feels ok then go play and then injured again. Maybe should see doctor. Maybe should cut it off. No way. But then today the sun was hanging brightly and hotly over my head when i left home and when i reached school it started to rain. Not the type of rain that reduces visibility but still rain that you can feel falling on your body. Someone in the group said it was just a passing cloud. We say that everytime to make ourselves feel better. But it was not one today. Rained or maybe drizzled consistently till 7 i think. Playing in the rain is one matter, playing on the wet court is another. Slippery and so the kick not really there. Played till very late today. 9 plus i think. Very late. Very hungry.

Went Holland Village again after that for dinner. A very late dinner. Then went for a round of drinks and chilling out (at Breko i think or some place at holland v). There was the 7 or 8 of us i think. All from the secondary school days. All liked to play soccer. I don't know how to say this but i think we should treasure whatever friendships we ave. Especially if it's from a long way back. Maybe not the best of friends. But friends nonetheless and had lots of activities together. Seeing how some of them are still so close after so many years warms the heart. If only there are more.
