Most of the soccer leagues have ended. Including the champions' league on wednesday. Not really very exciting to be truthful. I had expected more. Maybe due to the red card it can't get any more exciting. The referee's performance on the whole was not very good (read terrible). But i won't go as far as henry to say he's playing for barca. Of course to take nothing away from barca they deserve to win. It's not like they were tyko or anything. Although i think both goals should have been saved by almunia. And henry should have scored at least one. But that's for the history books since nothing can be done now. Pity arsenal. Wanted a fairy tale ending where each major english club gets one trophy. And i like to watch the trophy presentation.

More on soccer since the season has ended. On my beloved newcastle united. Glenn Roeder is our new manager!! Sigh. Guess it's all back to square one. Hopefully it don't end up with another sacking. Why never approach gus hiddink?? Sigh.

Shearer's playing football career officially over after his testimonial. Thanks Al... for 10 great years. He kicked off the match... was immediately substituted by chopra... les ferdinand (superb foil to shearer in their days) earned a penalty (diplomatically given by referee) in injury time... and on back comes shearer to convert and end the game. 2-1 to newcastle. Great fun it seems.

I know who newcastle should buy. Pennant (since birmingham relegated) and ashton (though i don't think it's possible). I havn't pinpointed any defenders yet and that's one area we desperately need someone good (though bramble's goal against chelsea was very nice).

Roeder takes over managerial hotseat. I think it may spell the end of the line for luque as i think roeder don't really like him.

FA Cup final. Two wonderfully struck beauties of goals by gerrard. Highest quality. Though i really pity west ham. They should have hung on. But there's nothing anybody could have done to deny stevie. And when it goes to penalties you know liverpool will triump somehow.

Chimbonda is an idiot. Freaking ungrateful idiot. Bird brains. Can't believe i actually praised him sometime earlier here. Makes me feel like an idiot.

Ballack to chelsea. Stale rumour becomes true. No feeling. Guess man utd will have to try harder to get their targets. Berbatov chose tottenham over them as well (i don't know how true that is). Chelsea getting stronger. Sheva better don't go also. No fun anymore.

Henry stays. Just commited his future to arsenal for four more years and says he wants to end his career there. Really think he is a great pro. Maybe second to shearer. Beng should be happy though.
