work rants

So shag after two days of work.

Actually already very shag yesterday but didn't blog.

Work is so boring. I should write that with a capital B.

Everyday do the same thing again and again... again and again... again and again... i think you get what i mean.

9am - Reach office.
9am - 1pm - Work.
1pm - 1.30pm - Eat lunch at coffeeshop.
1.30pm - 2pm - Sleep in office.
2pm - 6pm - Work.

Just follow the uncles i'm working with.

Work is just:
1. Carry boxes to my table.
2. Take out the contents.
3. Label with stickers and seal.
4. Put back everything into the big box.
5. Seal the big box.
6. Carry the box back to original place.

Again and again.

I did 21 boxes on monday.

I did 17 boxes today. U know what i mean??

So i've been facing the same component for two days. And will be facing another component for the next three days if my calculations are correct.

How can people do this everyday and not feel bored??

And the MRT to and fro sucks BIG TIME.

If one day you don't want to listen to anyone...
Call me.
I promise to be there for you.
And i promise to be very quiet.

american football

Got a temp job yesterday. (Finally...i can hear someone at the back there gasping.)

Went to a friend's house for mahjong and world cup soccer with his girlfriend and another friend. Add in a game of his favourite settlers anytime. Boring first two matches. Thought czech could win. But overran by the black ghana. Deservedly i might add. Played one roound of four-man mahjong. Won some with a late flourish. Then used it to order macdonalds delivery. Were told that the waiting time will be one hour and two minutes. Yup... two minutes!! How did they do it. Then played a tiny bit of three-man mahjong. Wow. Too exciting for me. Too exhilerating.

Italy vs U.S.A. deserved a special mention here. I think the USA too customed to playing american football. Very fierce. Very very fierce. Three red cards say a lot. A bleeding brian mcbride says something. All in all not a very good soccer match. But quite entertaining. Don't know when and where the next red card might come. Thinks the referee did a terrible job in handling the match.

Damn shagged.

E2Max just now. Quite fun actually.

Anyway the shelter from my house to the MRT is finally in use!! Yippie!!

Received a call from someone in the US. Shocked times ten point three eight.

Thinking of work tomorrow even shaggier. And i think i'm falling sick again.

If one day you want to run away....
Don't be afraid to call me.
I don't promise to ask you to stop,
But i can run with you.

fever 真神

38.8 degrees.

Nope not a new boyband but my temperature yesterday (from my army-provided clinical thermometer).

Yes... i have a fever.

Fearing it could be dungue as my body aches as well, i decided to see a doctor. Waited for like forever there when it is actually like half an hour. The doctor also helped me to take my temperature. My left ear says 37.1 degrees. I said cannot be. My right ear says 37.9 degrees. Wah. My body can't even agree among itself. Think something is seriously wrong.

But after a day and some medicine... i am feeling better. One more day and hopefully i will be fine again. Hate being sick. Hate the feeling.

Anyway have to say sorry to some people for cancelling on two "appointments" yesterday. Actually technically only one lah. So sorry "some people". Actually also wanted to go friend's house to watch brazil and france. Guess i did not miss much.

Come on Ronaldo!! Come on Zidane!!

If france goes out in the first round again i think it will be an even bigger laughing stock.

Watched singapore idol just now. Found one of the guys extremely irritating and... and... and... i can't remember the word. Told you my ability to write has nosedived to depths previously unseen. And it is also affecting my speech as well. Guess i should write less and talk less. The more you talk the more trouble you get yourself into. Shao shuo shao cuo.

Hooked on 小气大财神。

真神。

If one day you feel like crying....
Call me.
I don't promise to make you laugh,
But i can cry with you.

say! say! say! hooo!!!

Say! Say! Say! Say! Say!

Hard Gay. Pretty funny clips. If you are not very busy then you can seriously consider watching some of the clips. Got me in stiches. But must watch with english subtitles. If not you will not understand as it's a japanese production. Recommended. A timely thing to cheer yourself up.

World Cup 2006 finally upon us. No SCV so have to take what is available which to put it briefly is only the opening match between germany and costa rica.

Germany 4 -- 2 Costa Rica
At least it was quite exciting and has lots of goals. Missed watching paolo wanchope play. Those long dangly legs which seem to be faster than the rest of his body. Haha. Very funny.

Poland 0 -- 2 Ecuador
No SCV like i said. Haha.

But luckily got a friend who was kind enough to accomodate me for some matches (of my choice hopefully). Thanks.

Thus i was able to catch last night's three matches.

England 1 -- 0 Paraguay
Super boring match. One nil after three minutes. Thought what. Should have known better. Doubt england got a serious chance of winning this thing though they should at least be able to progress from this group.

Sweden 0 -- 0 Trinidad & Tobago
Was quite exciting as compared to the earlier match though no goals were scored. Our very own singaporean referee representative at the world cup showed the first red card to a T&T player. Seems like we really like to be first in everything. Haha. Markus Allback the villian. Clumsy fellow.

Argentina 2 -- 1 Ivory Coast (or should it be Cost de Ivori or something)
Great matchup. I think the first seriously exciting matchup. No wonder it's the group of death. Ivory Coast surprised me. They played pretty well. But undone by crespo's craftiness and a wonderful riquelme's through ball. Crespo did not even bother to challenge for the free kick floated in but just waited for the rebound. Nice. Good poacher. Every team needs someone like that. I seriously don't like drogba. Looks ugly and plays ugly and dives somemore. But i must say he played tremendous in this match and he's the captain somemore. Ivory Coast tried to come back strongly but too little too late sadly. But not a bad match to watch.

Latest!!

Netherlands (aka Holland) 1 -- 0 Serbia & Montenegro

Mexico 3 -- 1 Iran

Sorry... no SCV.

Okay!!!

Sorry start for asian countries.

Hooo!!!

movies makes people sad

I am having a lot of weird dreams lately. Maybe it is because i am sleeping too much. Maybe it is because i am going crazy.

I am also developing sympthoms of drain phobia. No thanks to a freind of mine. Find myself looking out for the drains when i walk on street pavements. Insider story.

A lot of time. Spent them watching movies. But i think i am watching too many sad movies. Affecting my mood also.

#1. Touch 棒球英豪
-- Japanese movie on two guys one girl and baseball. Sad.

#2. A Millionair's First Love
-- A rich guy and a sick village girl. Sad.

#3. My Girl And I
-- A simple-minded guy (from my sassy girl) and his sick female classmate (song hye-kyo... ooh so pretty). This one very sad. But quite nice.

#4. Almost Love 青春漫画
-- A simple-minded guy and a girl he grew up with. And her boyfriend. And jacky chan. Sad but with happy ending.

Too much makes me sad also.

Next run will be comedies to neutralise the effect.

"Being left behind is as scary as leaving."

WORLD CUP STARTS IN 2 HOURS!!

But i don't have SCV. Sigh....

xia ban bei zi

No mood for anything. Brain dead. Basketball is the only meaningful activity in my life (and of course the occasional outings). Trying to exaggerate a bit here. World Cup begins in five days. But i don't have SCV. A lot of sadness all around recently for some reason. Cheer up people.

Seriously 再年轻一次多好.
