mulling

- I have 10 modules left to complete over 2 semesters. Should i go 6-4 or 5-5??

- Can i cope??

- What technical electives should i take??

- When will my cough ever recover??

- When will i then start on the book that i want to read but is lying untouched on my table??

Sigh.

On a brighter note... just met up with some of my former signals coursemates. Touted as a SOCC gathering but... only 6 people turned up. Think he don't have some numbers. Lets make it better next time then.

Congratulations to all who have had or is going to have their convocation ceremonies. Officially graduated!! Time to work then.

ME put me in their year 3 lab groupings list. WTF cock up again. Don't even reflect my IA in the various records.

How many modules should i take??

genting trip

Spent the last weekend in Genting. Cold cold genting. Finally got off our bums and got our butts moving after talking about a trip for so long. For this group of friends i think our first overseas trip actually. To that... YEAH.

No camera so no photos. Haha.

Lets see what is memorable.....

- Tried not to be like usual kiasu singaporeans but ended up in a very very much longer queue to get a queue number for checking in. Wrong move. Haha.

- Inflated price of bak kut teh.

- Dim sum breakfast where we were repeatedly ignored by the staff.

- Free milo, teh, coffee, water... in casino.

- Getting to know to play all the games in casino but not having enough money and guts to actually play them.

- Super super satisfactory sleep after checking in. One of the best sleep in recent memory.

- Super lame and packed cable car ride and doing nothing before returning.

- 12am dinner.

- And of course the company.

That is about it. Not too bad. Till our next trip....

Three movies in two days!! So rich right.... NO!!!

The producers were being too humble to have called the movie DIE HARD. It should have been impossible to die or never die. That will be more apt i think. Some one-liners are quite funny actually. Transformers is surprisingly nice. The girl is hot. Action not bad. But the autobots second in command a bit useless. Haha. Harry Potter?? Lets say it was entertainment. Some people will know what i mean. Not really a fan.

Went back to school early this morning for my FYP balloting. Quite a mess if you ask me. They were late and the process was more manual than we thought. Butthere was no challenge for my choice so i got the project immediately and there is no need for balloting (unlike some others) and we can then leave already. The whole process took less than 1/2 hour. And make me wake up so early. But at least got the FYP thing settled so should not complain too much.

Next up : CORS Bidding.

official last day at EESC

Went back to STK-EESC (Electrical and Electronics Service Centre), the department i was attached to for the past six months, on tuesday to get my final report cleared and settle some stuff also. The place still the same. What can have changed over two weeks anyway. Those bloody pirates.

Havnt been talking much on my attachment over the past semester. This could be due to:

1) I cannot bring photo taking equipment into the place.

2) There is really nothing very interesting happening. Interesting things write people also don't understand.

3) I was perpetually in a very tired state. Just ask the people there.

4) i have lost my gift of writing.

But there is always time to bring some closure to the whole thing. I have said my thanks and goodbye. May everyone be in good health.

But luckily there is a shared camera in the place. Managed to squeeze some time to take a couple of shots as shown below. Now this is sounding like my report.

Figure 1 above shows the smoking point cum resting area cum game discussion forum for the department. I am shown in my standard pose and position. You will most probably find me in this postition in the morning before work and during the 3pm lunch break. Two sofas is really not enough for all of us. Haha. The place where the most fun takes place. Senh-kars unite!! And if you want a seat you must be fast. That's how hot in demamd they are. And i must say its pretty comfortable. Will miss it haha.

From left: Wenzheng, Lim-peh, Bok Muchuan, Teckguan (my supervisor), Adrian, John-Tais, Me, Chwee, Ah-Ong.

Figure 2 above is a group photo of the people i work with in the elect shop. Great people.

Figure 3 is also a group photo. Two new additions. The two Eugenes - Dua3-Yew and Suay4-Yew. My supervisor, also the one who is manipulating the camera, was beautifully cropped out of the picture on the right.
Missing: Ah Tiong

Go Navy Division 1!! Attachment officially over!!

Time to go back to school then. FYP allocation results came out today. Everyone seems to get a project but not me. Now i still have to go back NUS next wednesday for balloting. How ma-fan is that. Irritating. Now still must choose again. Not many projects left. So very the sian....

Wish me luck then.

Going genting later tonight over the weekend. More and more people started working liao. So only feasible time is either leave or weekends. Time constraints. Pretty lucky of us to get the genting rooms actually. Someone went on sunday and all rooms were booked. But when we did the actually booking on monday suddenly got two rooms free (also don't know why). So we go lor. Who ask someone don't wanna join in the cameron tour. Finally set into action our long long long long talked about plan to go overseas (no matter the distance). The special friends.
Hey.... its friday the 13th again.
