the first week of school

What happened lately?



Watched "881"!! Support local show. Not bad. A bit lame butpretty enjoyable. Some of the songs nice also. Qi yuwu plays a dumb in the show. The show is the story of the papaya sisters (mindee ong and yeo yann yann) from his point of view. But the narration is don by the director royston tan. So we don't hear his voice at all. May and Choy are the durian sisters. I cringed whenever they spoke chinese. Everytime. But the auntie zai.

Better than i expected actually. Very funny. A bit racist. Worth a watch if you just want to relax and laugh.

This is the first week of school. It does feel a bit weird after being away for more than half a year. Plus the fact that not everyone is taking the same modules anymore.... something different. Good thing is that i'm not sleeping during lectures. Yet. Going to get much busier very soon as i seriously embark on my FYP and design projects. God bless.

Some interesting things that happened:

- One of my modules only has 21 person and another like only 40. Having a lecture with so little people around feels weird.

- I got a 8am lecture. Cannot take it.

- I got a 6 hours lecture marathon. Cannot take it.

- I got fridays free. But not for long.

- Arts canteen still sell the same stuff.

- Engin canteen got new stall. By the owner of another stall if i'm not wrong.

- A 2 hours lecture took only 50 minutes today and then the lecturer said "that's all!!"

Another great news: Boston Legal is back on Ch 5!!!!!

the next semester

CORS (our very own Centralised Online Registration System) has started and ended. At the first stage of bidding!! First time. But that's because i'm not bidding for any GEMs lah. But the release of results (which should be at 11pm last night) cocked up again. Only got the email at don't know what time. So classic. Almost forgot abut these hic-ups after half a year away.

Another first : 4-DAYS WEEK TIMETABLE!! Wow. But because got FYP (final year project) and another design project... probably doesn't make a big difference. But for the first time in seven semesters... t still sounds good.

The Modules:

- ME4101A Bachelor Of Engineering Dissertation aka FYP

- ME3102 Mechanical Systems Design II

- ME3242 Industrial Automation

- ME4251 Thermal Engineering Of Materials (Am i taking this ALONE?!)

- ME4254 Materials In Engineering Design (Popular. A lot of people i think.)

- EC1301 Principles of Economics (Have to take. Lan lan.)


So that's that. My workload next semester.

I think i'm going to die.

Seriously.


On another serious note... i think my FYP is going to start very soon.
