where exactly are you

Swamped with projects and reports. That sums up my life at the moment. Actually can be done one lah... but way to lazy to do. As usual. Havn't even started touching any of the modules other than the projects till date. Think this sounds like death. Hopefully can still maintain my CAP before my attachment. If not i might as well drop out of school.

1 project officially down.... 2 more to go. By around this time next week should be left with two presentations. And one week after that officially clear everything. Then that leaves me two weeks to my first paper. Again this does not sound rosy.

As i've mentioned earlier, my industrial attachment (IA) next semester has been confirmed already. ME usually not so efficient one... dunno why this time so fast. One week after the application date closed received the confirmation email to us and the company already. Anyway a friend will be sent there as well. Good or bad??? Haha. What company?? ST Kinetics. LOW PAY. CHEAP LABOUR. Haha.

Something interesting.

Had a conversation with a bored friend who is currently based in Switzerland for a year for work. So yes she's working in Switzerland. From her workplace's rooftop she is able to see both France and Germany. Germany is 3km away. France is 200m (no i didn't type wrongly). Home is 2km away. Yup that means France is actually nearer than home from work. How weird is that. It's like.... ok i better not say.

I'm not making this up.

Also according to my source there is no need to get your passport stamped or chopped when you cross the border to Germany to buy stuff. It seems they only seriously checked the cars going through the border and for those on foot having your passport with you will suffice. Another person did not even managed to get her passport stamped when she reached Switzerland's airport in the first place. And liquor is cheap. Hard liquor costs single digit euros only. So the chance of becoming an alcoholic increases. Especially if you already are an alcoholic in Singapore.

Now i better understand how some of the Hollywood movies like Bourne Identity or Mission Impossible works.

Newcastle United sucks at the moment. Disappointing. Promises more. I think currently only West Ham sucks more than us. Even Blackburn is doing well.

Something very funny from the net:

The world of football has been plunged into shock and confusion after Ipswich Town confirmed that they would like to sign Newcastle 'defender' Titus Bramble and may even pay money to acquire his services.

In a sensational development that has already prompted many to question whether the date of April Fools' Day had been moved, Tractor Boys manager Jim Magilton claimed that he would leap at the chance to sign the player if, as expected, Newcastle put Bramble on the transfer list for the January sales.

Suggestions that Magilton may have been speaking under duress, or has mistakenly identified Bramble, are set to be investigated after he inexplicably described the Toon man as "a quality defender".

"If there was a possibility of signing Titus I would do it right now," Magilton told the East Anglian Daily Times.

"He is a quality defender who is playing at Premiership level and we know all about him. So, yes, absolutely I would bring him here.

"We have not asked about him as yet, but if he is available and would like to come here, then we will be in there finding out."

Football365 needs a lie down.

Is that funny or what??

Another article wrote:

Sir John Hall has defended Freddy Shepherd after a small number of fans turned on the Newcastle chairman on during the derby defeat at Middlesbrough.

Now life president of the club, Sir John admitted United had wasted money on inappropriate players but feels the club's struggling board will get things back on track.

"Like I did before him, Freddy Shepherd has backed every Newcastle United manager in the transfer market to the limit of the club's resources. And, like me, he cannot legislate for what happens on the field. That is up to the manager and the players."

"It is clear to me and everyone that some of the players brought by previous managers simply have not been good enough."

"In fact, our fans must look in amazement at some of the vast sums of money paid out for players who are not good enough for this football club."

Projects taught me that references are very important.

How true.

Anyway from a friend to a friend.... stay happy.

I want my snow.

Just before it turns one month to my last post... let me do something about it.

A lot of thing happening in school. Seven modules is a mistake i think. A bit too much for me to handle. A lot of things happening (i think). And a lot of things to do. A lot of projects and research to complete. Nothing done. And i guess nothing will be done. So be it. Don't understand a lot of things anyway.

Perpetually tired this semester. Much more than past semesters. It does affect my temper. So sorry if it affect you too.

To make this interesting....

Once tagged by this entry, the assignment is to write a blog entry of some kind with six random facts about yourself. Then, pick six of your friends and tag them; no tag backs. This explanation should be included.

-- I am a half-neat freak. I cannot stand things in too much of a mess. A bit is good. Too much no no. Eg. Messy CDs at CD shop and supermarkets. Haha...

-- I am a very picky reader. Textbooks are NO NOs...

-- My ambition when i was young was to be a teacher.

-- My favourite subject was geography. Then physics. Then economics. Then psychology. Then i don't know.

-- I can't help falling in love. That is one of my favourite songs of all time.

-- One of my greatest dream is to see and touch snow. Real snow... not the snow city one.

I'm supposed to tag six more people. But i think less than that read my blog. So if you're unfortunately reading this... YES YOU'RE TAGGED. Haha.

And i'm sorry for this great delay.

My friend wrote: I have decided to close down this journal. Wishing everyone happiness and peace in their lives. What happened?? Sad.

But i just caught Rob-B-Hood at jurong point. Yup... the jackie chan show.

It was surprisingly not bad. Exceed my expectations really. Most parts were funny. Some surprisingly so. Had a great laugh inside. Passable. Though a part with them reminicing and the baby crying got on my nerve. A bit lah. But can watch lah if you wanna laugh a bit. Really don't go into movies with expectations. It usually turn out better. Haha.

I think my next post will be interesting. Stay tuned.
